HOUSTON (AP) - The Houston Astros activated catcher Humberto Quintero from the disabled list and optioned catcher J.R. Towles to Triple-A Round Rock after Monday's 9-3 loss to Pittsburgh.
Quintero went on the DL after he was hit in the head with a bat and sustained a concussion against Los Angeles on July 1.
